Good news about the Napa Quake: The kid who had a chimney fall on him seems to be doing better.
Nicholas Dillon, the 13-year old boy who suffered serious injuries in Sunday morning's earthquake is recovering this afternoon at UC Davis medical center in Sacramento, according to reports by CBS.
After a chimney collapsed on the mattress where he was sleeping, Dillon suffered significant injuries. He spent nine hours in surgery to repair a crushed pelvis.
Including Dillon, Queen of the Valley Hospital treated 208 patients following the earthquake, most for minor injuries including broken bones. A wine cellar worker was treated for head and arm injuries after a large fish tank fell on him.
