The 46th annual San Francisco Decorator Showcase kicks off this month, featuring a talented roster of interior designers.
This year’s SF Decorator Showcase features a gorgeous and historic 1902 property in Pacific Heights.
I always think of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase as a one-stop vision board, writ large. Very large. This year’s event at a Pacific Heights home promises to be one of the biggest and most inspiring reveals ever.
Originally built in 1902 by renowned architect T. Paterson Ross and meticulously renovated in 2009, the 9,400-square-foot residence blends historic charm with contemporary luxury. Spanning five levels, the home boasts eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, three half-baths and an elevator. Visitors will discover landscaped gardens and a spectacular rooftop terrace featuring a fire pit, hot tub and a private lounge with breathtaking views of the San Francisco skyline and Bay.
For the uninitiated, the showcase selects some of the region’s most accomplished interior and landscape designers to decorate a single room or area, resulting in a visual treat for guests who witness a rich gumbo of styles. This year’s designers include Geoffrey De Sousa (@geoffreyde sousa) for the living room, Kelly Hohla (@kellyhohla) for the kitchen and family room, Julie Rootes (@julierootesinteriors) for the dining room, Kendra Nash (@nashdesigngroup) for the primary bedroom and bath and Katharine Webster (@katharine_webster) for the garden apartment patio. Bonus: Proceeds from the showcase support the financial aid program at San Francisco University High School (sfuhs.org). April 26-May 26, Tue., Wed., Thu., Sat., 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (last entry), Fri., 10 a.m.-7 p.m. (last entry), 2935 Pacific Ave., decoratorshowcase.org
