Bay Area Rainbow Symphony Concert
What: LGBT-themed symphony performance by acclaimed violionist Jassen Todorov, conductor Cyrus Ginwala, and many other musicians.
Where: St. Marks Lutheran Church, 1111 O'Farrell, SF.
When: Saturday 16th 7 p.m. and Sunday 17th 4 p.m.
Cost: $15-35
Why: Because rainbow symphony is the best word combo we've heard in a while.
What: Arts, crafts, and design extravaganza showcasing work exclusively from left coast artists.
Where: Fort Mason, 2 Marina Boulevard, SF.
When: Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cost: Free
Why: Because you should always take the opportunity to toast the west coast as the best coast.
What: Concert featuring New Orleans' very own bounce queen.
Where: The Independent, 628 Divisadero, SF.
When: Friday 15th, 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $20.
Why: Because of this interview and because she's the best twerker in the world.
