What: A blacklight yoga class (wear your neon; glow paint provided) followed by a "music extravaganza" from MC Yogi & DJ Drez.

Why: Even if sun salutations make you weary, the food trucks and complimentary kombucha may help you find some post-workweek inner peace.
San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival
What: Watch over 130 dragon boat teams hailing from the U.S., Canada, and the Netherlands race for glory
Where: California Avenue and Avenue D, Treasure Island
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 14th and 15th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (racing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why: It's the fastest growing international team water sport (sorry, Larry Ellison), and has an impressive history that spans over 2,000 years.
Robot Dance Party at Monarch
What: A "non-stop-cyber-indie-pop-dubstep-goodness" party with sets from Date Nite, Maxwell Powers, and T-Mass.
Where: Monarch, 101 6th Street, San Francisco
When: Thursday, September 12th, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Cost: $10 at the door, robots get in free (whatever that means)
Why: It may be the only acceptable place in the city to do "the Robot" un-ironically. Plus, there will be a light show.
2013 Autumn Moon Festival
What: Celebrate the "bounty of the summer harvest" with cultural performances, multiple parades, and a special street bazaar.
Where: Chinatown, San Francisco
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 14th and 15th, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Why: This holiday may have been likened to a "Chinese Thanksgiving," but we think their dragon parade sounds way cooler than Macy's typical offering.
18th Annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival
What: Festival highlights include a chocolate and wine pavilion, an ice cream eating contest, and insights into the chocolate making process.
Where: Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 14th and 15th, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $20 to $125
Why: Because, well, yum.
