What We're Obsessed With Right Now (exist) - 28

Compiled by Scott Lucas | February 26, 2014 | Lifestyle Story City Life

Sara Deseran, Editor-at-Large: I haven't walked into a restaurant that made me more giddy than the new rendition of Lolo, which moved from its old location in the Mission to shiny (like shiny, happy people kind of shiny) new Valencia Street digs. In a city full of rather self-serious exposed brick walls and Edison bulbs, Lolo is all fun: A wall of dog statues, suit jackets sewn into banquets, a bar lined with beach postcard images as clich├ęd as a Cancun spring break. It's wacky, happy-making stuff.

Scott Lucas, Web Editor: I took this sourdough bread making class this weekend. It was great—but now I have a sourdough mother that can make an infinite supply of bread. Which is kind of hard for just two people to eat. So, I guess now it's a bread party at my apartment?

Jenna Scatena, Associate Editor: SF Climates is a weather app that gives you a real-time report on San Francisco's micro-climates isn't new, but it comes in handy every time the weather turns here. With the storm coming in, I use it to see if it's raining where I'm heading (which means book my Lyft at least 10 minutes in advance), and what to wear (it might be partly cloudy and 62 in Nob Hill, but that doesn't mean it's not raining with 10 mph wind gusts in the Inner Richmond).

Ian Eck, Editorial Intern: Spritz is a new app that makes speed-reading a breeze. Finally, I can keep up with my twitter feed. Hold that thought, I gotta refresh.

Katherine Guzman, Editorial Intern: I got my hands on a bottle of Abissi sparkling wine. It's aged in bottle under water and has barnacles and other dried bits of sea life on it. It's pretty crazy. We haven't opened it yet. I bought it to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday and the dinner is next week so really, I'm obsessed with the idea of it.
