Azalea gets a remodel

Sara Johnson | February 15, 2012 | Lifestyle Style & Beauty Story Style Fashion Shopping

The paint is still drying at Azalea Boutique after it received a makeover last week. The Hayes Valley store’s famed red walls are now a bright white, and old shelving has been replaced with wood-and-glass displays for a modern, minimalist effect. But the product lines (think J Brand, Cheap Monday, and Rick Owens Lilies) remain the same—everything just looks prettier on the racks. Check out the boutique in our March feature on local lookbooks, on newsstands today. Click here for a video montage of the renovation.
