The Lawrence Hall of Science is a must visit due to it having one of the greatest views in the East Bay. When visiting, you can see an incredible view of the bay that includes San Francisco, Berkeley, Emeryville, Alcatraz, and so much more. We typically recommend visiting around night time, as the illuminated cities are stunning to view.

The Berkeley Marina is a great place to visit due to its versatile offerings. One of the highlights of the marina is that you see a beautiful view of the bay, while eating at the appetizing Skates On The Bay diner. Skates is well known for their delicious seafood and Japanese cuisine, while being accompanied with an astonishing outlook of the bay.
If you choose not to eat at the marina, there are also a variety of trails and walkways to explore!

The Tilden Regional Park is home to a wide variety of different activities and hiking trails. If you are looking to take a casual stroll and see some beautiful scenery, we recommend visiting the park’s botanical gardens and nature area! If you are itching to see some incredible views, hiking through the Seaview Trail and Inspiration Point are a must!

The Berkeley Rose Garden is well known for its gorgeous landscape of blossoming roses. The rose garden is the perfect place to take your Valentine, as the scenery hosts a wide assortment of roses, and is overall unmatched in the East Bay. The rose garden is also located near a lot of popular restaurants in downtown Berkeley. So feel to pick up some delicious food and be immersed in the elegance of the garden.

The UC Botanical Garden is a beautiful garden located within Strawberry Canyon. The garden is home to a vast amount of endangered plant species and delightful garden walkways. As the primary goal of the garden is to conserve a diverse assortment of plants, you are guaranteed to see many species that you’ve never even heard of!
