As summer begins to deter Karl The Fog away and shine the bright California sun on our city, you can guarantee all of our premiere bars here will be prepared to help you cool down.

Fun frozen cocktails and alcoholic slushy-type drinks are perfectly delightful to imbibe for summer, and we've rounded up all the places which serve the most delicious and creative ones, along with their exquisitely instagrammable atmospheres, to ensure nothing ruins your chill.

The Morris

2501 Mariposa St / Website

We begin with a truly inventive bar to start, as the Morris near Portrero Hill offers many unique libations featuring Chartreuse, a traditional and arcane liqueur first made and used by monks. We recommend this naturally green drink in their slushy, which is citrusy, refreshing, and a different complex flavor not typically utilized for a slushy.

The Lookout

The Lookout is simply outstanding for both their slushy selections, the wide balcony view of the Castro, great music, and the fun, airy interior! Enjoy one of their must-see hilariously and impressively amusing drag shows for brunch with one of their affordable fruity slushies for an unforgettable time.

Pagan Idol is *the* tiki bar to visit in San Francisco, for their colorfully decorated interior invites you to their interactive story of adventure, complete with several sweet and fruity frozen tropical cocktails. They also come in bowl servings for group outings to this highly fun and large bar near Union Square, ensuring your visit here is anything but shipwrecked.

The Dorian

The Dorian in the Marina pride themselves on their minty and watermelon-y "Frosé," and for great, delicious reason! This fashionably swanky spot is the place to go for an opulently vintage feel that's both lavish and off the beaten path from the main Marina bar stretch.

The Detour

2200A Market St / Website

The Detour is a tucked away arcade bar on Market near the Castro that offers several different game nights and events during the week. Their large space fits a great amount of classic arcade and board games which they encourage you to fully interact with, especially with one of their signature Strawberry Frozen Wine Slushy.

They even have an immense screen above their bar which you can sit and compete with other patrons on in video games like Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros!

The Beehive

The Beehive is a trendy and posh 60's-inspired bar with fancy gold accents and clean, sharp decor. Located on Valencia Street, their "Miami Nice" with rum, pink guava, coconut, allspice, and lime makes a perfect thirst-quenching cool treat after a sunny day at nearby Dolores Park.

Palm House is the sister restaurant to The Dorian, yet they have a flavor and beautiful aesthetic all of their own. Escape to the relaxing islands from right within Cow Hollow through their signature Palm House Slushy with rum and agave, in rotating tropical flavors of guave, prickly pear, and more.

With all of these incredibly impressive and gorgeous bars which serve the most wonderfully refreshing icy concoctions, you are sure to keep your cool while looking even cooler!
