The Presidio
Located at the Golden Gate Bridge's entrance this park offers museum's, meals and scenic views.
Golden Gate Park
One of the most popular parks in the country and the largest in San Francisco, this spot offers an array of gardens, flowers and scenic views. Activities don't stop at the outdoors as the de Young Museum, Golden Gate Park Aquarium and other activities are offered as well.
McLaren Park
An array of activities are offered at this spot, such as a golf course, pool, picnic areas and playground. Enjoy more than seven miles of hiking trails with scenic views.
Ina Coolbrith Park
Slightly hidden on Russian Hill, this smaller park offers picturesque views of the city. Head here on a sunny day for a day well spent.
Washington Square Park
Down the road from Ina Coolbrith Park, this historic location has a variety of ice cream shops surrounding it. Keep an eye out for events held here, such as festivals and movie nights.
Lands End
Lands End's trails offer a windy experience around rocky cliffs above the ocean with picturesque views along the way.
Hilltop Park
At the highest point of Bayview Hill, Hilltop has a famous 70-foot sundial, a skate bowl and picnic tables.
Grandview Park
Grandview Park is a great location for hiking as the elevated park showcases incredible views of downtown San Francisco.
Buena Vista Park
Recognized as the oldest park in San Francisco, this area offers winding trails, a dog play area, playground and tennis court.
Alamo Square Park
Offering picturesque scenery, this park is located in front of the famous Victorian houses. The views are enchanting, and the grassy knolls offer an area for play and picnics.
Dolores Park
With plenty of opportunities for fun, this popular park has a playground, a basketball court, soccer field and six tennis courts. Surrounded by palm trees, these lushes lawns are also the location of plenty memorable events.
Sutro Heights Park
A bit of a hidden spot located at the edge of San Francisco, this location has spectacular coastline views of Ocean Beach.
Glen Canyon Park
This 66.6-acre area offeres an abundance of looped hiking trails with wildflowers along the way.
Alta Plaza Park
A tiered staircase leads the way to this hillside park, where there are plenty of natural views and activites for all. On the summit is a playground, tennis court and off-leash dog play area.
