It's just a fact that you simply cannot take a bad photo at the Palace of Fine Arts. With its towering columns, ornate details, and elegant architecture, it's no wonder why this remnant from the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition was preserved to stay as an integral part of San Francisco's classic beauty. This is a popular site for many to hold photoshoots and even wedding ceremonies, either by its lake or under its massive dome.

Apart from the many mountains in which to get a sweeping view of the skyline, our pick is Corona Heights Park just above the Castro for its endless view of downtown that almost looks like a Hollywood backdrop. The short hike or drive up to this desert-like peak is tremendously easy, with just the right amount of sunshine and ample space at the summit to get all the good angles (though we know there aren't any bad ones).

Salesforce Park is quite literally an elevated setting, towering among SoMa's glorious skyscrapers as a lush garden with sleek futuristic light and architectural features. Many come to this sumptuous oasis to do yoga, relax, and naturally, capture some exclusive shots either by the cutting-edge fountain, in the Prehistoric Garden, or even within the spaceship-like terminal lobby.

The Dutch Windmills can be found at the very western end of Golden Gate Park, which in itself has countless areas for enchanting photoshoots, like the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, Music Concourse, or Hippie Hill. The windmills though, host the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden at its base, making it feel like you've stepped right into The Netherlands, though we doubt you could find an equally-bucolic Ocean Beach right next to one there like here.
