It doesn't get anymore popular and picturesque than at our first choice at Dolores Park. In the hot summer days through our breezy evenings, you can find the park packed with visitors lounging and taking in the sights with their aesthetic picnics. Alongside the famous park are the tennis courts, which are just as highly coveted for excellent reasons.
Even Serena Williams was seen spotted challenging local players here in 2017!

Our second choice is just off of the Castro District at the base of the hidden Corona Heights Park. This is the ideal tucked-away local location for tennis courts that are both less occupied and boast a stunning view of the city and its surrounding naturally red-rocked mountain.
We also recommend cooling off after your game by visiting the cute animals at the highly amusing Randall Museum right next door!

At another iconic location, Pacific Heights' Alta Plaza Park serves the most sweeping views of the nearby Presidio and Marina neighborhoods. Warm up to your tennis match at these off-the-beaten-path courts by taking the stairs up to the courts at the park's summit "Rocky-style," and you're sure to feel like a winner just from the steep climb up!

Voted RSI Facility of the Year, this public center hosts a large swath of Golden Gate Park all devoted to tennis lovers. By booking a reservation in advance, you are able to access any of their many courts in this vibrant surrounding. You can even hear the drumming from the nearby Hippie Hill, and take a short walk to the Conservatory of Flowers or AIDS Memorial Grove!

These tennis courts are a local favorite in the Russian Hill neighborhood, which is also just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf and Fort Mason. This park offers four spaced-out courts along with a high panoramic view of the whole city to make you feel like you're on top of the world.

Lastly, for a more seaside view during your challenging match, we highly recommend visiting this site at Mission Bay. The serene coastal neighborhood is known mostly for their tremendous high rises, the Chase Center and Oracle Park, but also for their lush waterfront parks and many unmissable recreational courts fitted cozily right under overpasses and by the channel!
This is another great tucked-away choice that's new and refined.
Wherever you are in the city, you are sure to have both a winning game and view at these delightful courts, perfect for anytime of the year!
