The first-ever Portola Festival premiered with an melodious bang on Saturday and Sunday of September 24th and 25th, welcoming in over 50 of the biggest names in pop and electronica to our historic Pier 80.
The lengthy pier sported four massive stages all with their different environments, but consistent through all of them was the exceptional sense of fashion, particularly with its commitment to authentically reviving a specific musical era. Vibrant homages to 90's rave, 80's disco, and Y2K pastels appeared to be the most popular style trend at this gen z-prominent pavillion, matching and amplifying same funkiness, deep house, and classic vogue essences of the thumping trance beats. Here are a few of our favorite outfits from the two day extravaganza, which all looked just as fabulously aesthetic as they were comfy to wear out on this sunny dock!
