Video of the CEO of the company that runs concessions for the Niners and Giants abusing a dog in a Vancouver hotel elevator drew swift response today.
CEO Des Hague has been placed on an indefinite suspension from the company following the incident, and has been asked to donate $100,000 to finance an anti-animal cruelty charity and to serve 1,000 community service hours at an animal welfare organization.
It's a swift reaction to the video, which shows Hague kicking and abusing Sade, a doberman pinscher puppy.
According to the Chronicle, Hague's company, Centerplate, runs the concessions at Levi's Stadium as well as at AT&T Park. As SF Weekly notes, the company has faced local labor battles for several years.
