The prestigious French Cognac brand, Bisquit & Dubouché, announces the U.S. arrival of their award-winning range set to inspire new audiences with their legendary spirit.
Whether you’re a Cognac connoisseur or new to this dark spirit, an exquisite sip of Bisquit & Dubouché awaits you. This venerable Maison was founded nearly 200 years ago with a rich history anchored by its two fearless founders – Alexandre Bisquit and Adrien Dubouché – and by a masterful double distillation process unique to the brand. "Since its inception, the house has pioneered an approach audacious in its simplicity: instinct, patience, and a singular appreciation for the craft behind Cognac creation,” says Vincent Chappe, Ambassadeur Global de la Maison and 40 + year Cognac veteran.
Bisquit & Dubouché delivers a signature Cognac range, from their flagship V.S.O.P. to a high-end offering, X.O. Their hallmark ‘eau de vie’ is brought to life through intuition, experience, and continuous tastings. Thanks to their radical distillation method that relies more on emotion and intuition than on conventional procedures and technical methods, this excellent Cognac provides a superior concentration of smoothness simply unmatched.
Both highly accoladed offerings, the V.S.O.P. and X.O., boast a rich bouquet of fruit and floral notes with an everlasting finish. From a seductive blend of vanilla and caramel to the subtle notes of honey, fig and dark fruits, the distinctive taste of this Cognac is meant to be savored. While an old Cognac like the X.O. is intended to be served straight, the V.S.O.P. spirit can too be sipped on the rocks or mixed into a delectable concoction.
Here is Bisquit & Dubouché’s special recipe for a chai Cognac cocktail:
B&D Rocked Chai
Ingredients:
2 oz. B&D V.S.O.P.
1 large chai tea*
Infused ice round block
Twist of lemon as garnish
*Chai tea contains black tea, cardamon, cinnamon and pepper. Infuse this tea packet with your ice to ensure a spicy sip in your cocktail’s ice cube.
Directions:
Place a chai-tea infused ice cube at the bottom of the glass. Pour 2 oz. of B&D VSOP over the cube slowly so it doesn’t crack. This Cognac should be poured in front of the guest from the bottle, so the guest can see the specialty ice. Place the lemon garnish on top of the ice block. This is the perfect pairing for an exotic dinner.
