So why don’t you run, so why don’t you run? Right back to the Chase Center stage to see Deftones take us all back to school.
The southern California band was an innovator in the ‘90s and 2000s rock scene, and the “Change (In The House of Flies” quartet is just as beloved by today’s generation of moody teens as the kids of their original era.

Singer Chino Moreno is a howling poet, and he’s sure to deliver an energetic and emotionally overwhelming performance that’ll give the headbangers whiplash and the sad boys something to cry tears of joy about when the Deftones take the San Francisco stage Tuesday, March 4.
Before you head to the show, be sure to check our guide below for all the need-to-know info.
First of all, whether you’re using rideshare to get to the venue or driving yourself, we highly recommend buffering your travel time with an extra half hour or so to account for heightened traffic in the area. Then go ahead and add another 15 minutes to handle your parking your own car.
The Chase Center offers space to pre-paid parking pass holders at two distinct garages: the Mercedes-Benz Garage, accessible from 390 16th St. and 99 Warriors Way; and the Warriors Way Garage, accessible at 150 Warriors Way. Both garages are set to open at 5 p.m. the day of the concerts, and both garages close at midnight. You can learn even more about how to reach these garages at chasecenter.com/parking.
If you didn’t nab a limited parking pass in time, there are third-party operated garages recommended by the Chase Center at 1800 Owens St., and the corner of 19th Street and Illinois Street. When there are no events at Oracle Park, the Chase Center also recommends parking at Lot A at 74 Mission Rock St.
Yes, we’re sure you have the cutest purse picked out for this highly-fashionable show, but if your bag is any larger than 14” long and 6” wide, it’s going to have to be checked at the bag valet on Terry A Francois Blvd for a $10 fee. Backpacks are never allowed, although smaller fashion backpacks and diaper bags that look like backpacks can get a pass if they meet the 14” x 6” requirement. All bags will be searched and screened.
First of all, get your tickets for Tuesday here. Now that that’s out of the way:
Printed tickets are a thing of the past at the Chase Center, because the venue has gone completely contactless—at least for entry. Make sure your mobile ticket is ready to be scanned once you get to security, either on your TicketMaster app or the Warriors + Chase Center Mobile App.
It’s always a good idea to download and access your ticket page before leaving the house, in case of a lowered cell signal due to crowds or lack of on-site WiFi. However, please be advised that screenshots of digital tickets don’t always work. Be sure to read the fine print of your mobile ticket.
Deftones are bringing some serious rock heavyweights with them on this tour. Heavy chugging rockers Fleshwater are certainly inspired by Deftone's nu-metal meets shoegaze sounds, and they’re setting the tone for the evening. Then, iconic indie rockers The Mars Volta will bring their electrifying, out-of-left-field sound paired with the kind of performance energy you need to see to believe. Do not miss either of these acts.
Things are going to start off strong an remain unrelenting with the feels, the power chords and the attitude until the bittersweet end. From "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)" to "My Own Summer," "Around The Fur" and more, each show comes with its own surprises. In November, the band played "Beauty School" and "Hexagram" for the first time in years, so cross your fingers!
