In 2021, the award-winning Tia Lupita hot sauce decided to collaborate with the equally famous Double Rainbow ice cream to produce a fake campaign for their "Chipotle Chocolate Chip Ice Cream."
This innocuous and amusing April Fools Joke was then instantly met with overwhelming positive responses and hihg public demand, forging what is now this year's most unexpected and ambitiously successful partnership.

On Thursday, May 5, this powerful duo debuted their much-anticipated Chipotle Chocolate Chip Ice Cream finally for real, which is a decadent and smoky flavor combination that perfectly captures both companies' essences and inventive thinking.
Each Double Rainbow Chipotle Chocolate Chip carton is filled with a base of a base of Double Rainbow’s super premium Ultra Chocolate Ice Cream, which is then adorned with the richest fudge chips and precisely incorporated with Tia Lupita’s authentic and notoriously irresistable Chipotle Hot Sauce.
