Biere de Chocolat is on tap at Shotwell's.

Drink This Now: Beer

Sara Deseran | February 7, 2013 | Food & Drink Story Eat and Drink

What happens when two of the city’s most artisany artisans join up? You get Biere de Chocolat, a collaboration between Almanac Beer and Dandelion Chocolate. The beer, released in January, tastes just like you’d imagine—a deep stout with enough notes of cacao that you suddenly feel a craving for dessert: say, gingerbread cake covered in salted caramel. Bake one and bring it with you to Shotwell’s, where the beer is on tap.

3349 20th St. (near S. Van Ness Ave.), 415-648-4104
