With tickets at $90 per person, a portion of the proceeds, in addition to donations, will benefit the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity, which is North America’s largest guide dog school.
Founded in 1942, GDB passionately devotes their services to empowering their blind or visually impaired community through not only providing highly qualified guide dogs, but also by advocating for more accurate and inclusive policy reforms.
With this year marking GDB’s 80th anniversary, it is only fitting that the iconic EPIC host this noble and legendary charity.
The cuisine at this can’t-miss occasion will be just as elegant, with many premier local restaurants and wineries set to attend. Look out for the award-winning wineries of Ernest, Brick & Mortar, Hartford Court, Presqu’ile, and more, to perfectly pair with your bites served by Waterbar, Scoma, Perry’s, and many more.
There will also be craft beer tastings hosted by the most innovative local breweries, along with a watermelon eating contest, a raffle, performances by The Henry Coopers, and of course, lots of pork by EPIC.
EPIC Steak, located at 369 The Embarcadero South, is the cutting-edge masterpiece by Chef Parke Ulrich and Chef de Cuisine Colton Hays. With their contemporary and inventive menu, their sophisticated seaside oasis creatively redefines the typical steakhouse experience and channels the diverse flavors and essences of San Francisco.
Not only do they excel in their meat offerings, but also in their handcrafted cocktails, sweeping panoramic views, and overall luxurious atmosphere and kind service.
High on the Hog is set for Sunday, July 17th from Noon to 3 p.m., with tickets available for purchase here.
You’ll come for the great food and convivial festivities, but definitely stay for the cute dogs.
