Eric Schmidt Leads The Tech Industry, Defense Department And New York State Economy Forward

Few people have such an influence over the world’s technological landscape as Eric Schmidt. The former Google executive chairman and CEO currently chairs the Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Advisory Board, which helps to bring Silicon Valley innovation to the U.S. military. Schmidt has also been an outspoken critic of the government’s handling of COVID-19, and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo tapped him to lead a 15-person commission on reimagining the state’s economy.
