All American Punch Recipe

Honey simple syrup:

  • 1 1/2 cups Honey Pacifica honey
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Punch:

  • 1/4 cup honey simple syrup (see above)
  • 4 cups lemonade (they recommend Califia Farms)
  • 3 cups Bespoken Spirits whiskey
  • 4 cups club soda Pearson Ranch lemon slices and ice, for serving

We also caught up with celebrity caterer Andrea Correale of Elegant Affairs, who taught us how to make a fun and vibrant, red, white and blue cocktail fit for the ‘gram.

Blue Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 1 cup lemonade

White Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 oz. Smirnoff Red, White & Berry
  • 1 cup lemonade

Red Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. grenadine
  • 2 oz. Smirnoff Red, White & Berry vodka
  • 1 cup lemonade

Instructions:

  1. Blend each layer separately in a blender until you get the right consistency.
  2. Store in the freezer until ready to build your cocktail.
  3. Pour each layer into a mason jar and serve right away with a straw.

American Pie, oh my!

All American Blueberry Crumble recipe

Correale also shared with us a delicious recipe for blueberry crumble. Not only is this All-American recipe delicious, it’s colorful and fun. Bring this to your firework picnic or backyard barbecue and watch everyone come back for seconds. Pair it with some vanilla ice cream, and you’ve got yourself a slice of heaven.

All American Blueberry Crumble

Yields: 6 Servings

Blueberry Filling Ingredients:

  • 4 cups blueberries
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Zest from one orange

Crumble Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ¼ cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 2 tsp baking Ppowder
  • ½ tsp Ccinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • ½ cup sweetened apple sauce
  • 1 TSP Almond Extract

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix the blueberries with all the ingredients, minus the crumble ingredients.

3. Add the coated blueberries to a cast iron skillet or Pyrex dish, and pat down lightly until the mixture is evenly distributed.

4. In a separate bowl, mix the crumble ingredients together.

5. Using your hands, crumble the mixture on top of the blueberries in the pan.

6. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. The top should be slightly browned.

7. Remove from the oven. Let sit for 25 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
