Global Hospitality Group sbe Distributes Relief Effort Care Packages To San Francisco Employees Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic

Global lifestyle hospitality brand sbe continued its giveback program for its furloughed and laid off employees with a care package delivery to its San Francisco team members. 75+ curated care packages were shipped directly to affected San Francisco employees, as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Each package contains household essentials like cleaning supplies, toilet paper, bath products, non-perishable food like tomato sauce, rice, beans and pasta, cases of water, $50 gift cards for gas and groceries, and more.

Local Umami Burger locations in the San Francisco area include Oakland and Soma District, which are both still currently available for pick-up orders and third party deliveries via food delivery apps.

Founder & CEO Sam Nazarian, a prominent name in the hospitality industry on a global and national level, especially in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, has been taking incredible action in response to the pandemic. In mid March he launched a GoFundMe page to support the hospitality community featuring a heartfelt video to help his hundreds of affected sbe employees, showing his incredible leadership. To date, over 2,000 packages were disseminated to employees in markets including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, and now San Francisco and Chicago.

This industry of 15 million people in the U.S. alone, woke up one morning and weren’t able to perform their jobs.
