It was a monumental Thursday night as the Golden State Warriors triumphantly won the 2022 NBA Finals Championship against the Boston Celtics, securing their fourth NBA title in eight seasons.
Winning the last three games, and with the final score a tight 103-90 in the 6th game out of the best-of-seven series, the Warriors emerged victorious once again, with Steph Curry garnering 34 of those points and earning the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Award.

In its franchise history, the team has incredibly racked a total of seven NBA championship wins, with the most recent three being 2015, 2017, and 2018. 2015 initiated then-new legends Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Steph Curry with their first win in over 40 years, along with Coach Steve Kerr's first year.
This year the Larry O'Brien Trophy will be finding home once again to the sunny Bay Area, with a grand parade set to kick off on Monday June 20th on Market Street.
The energetic parade will begin at 11:20 a.m. at Market Street's Main Street end, and conclude at 6th Street around 2 p.m., having around a mile and a half to commemorate everything pure joy, perserverance, and honor for the Bay Area and its tremendous team. NBC Sports Bay Area will also live-stream the Monday parade beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Thursday night also immediately saw streets all around San Francisco, particularly the Mission District, magnificently flock with the Warriors' devoted fans celebrating, livening the streets with exultant music, luminous fireworks, and bellowing chants rejoicing. See the photos below that capture the essence of how dynamically ecstatic the night was.
Be sure not to miss the historic parade this Monday on Market Street from 11:20 a.m. to 2 p.m.!
