September 12, 2012 |British fast fashion chain Topshop is known as a mix-and-match source for the fashion set, touted for its quick turnaround on runway trends and affordable separates that don't look cheap. After launching stand-alone stores in New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas, the brand teamed up with Nordstrom to open small-scale shop-in-shops across the country.
San Francisco's first Topshop and Topman were unveiled at Westfield Centre on Monday, offering men's and women's apparel, bags, shoes, and accessories. Though the trend-laden mannequins are aggressively styled — skulls + studs + florals + sequins! — there are some budget-friendly fall staples to be found among the racks, particularly the jackets, chunky knitwear, and blazers. The store will be hosting styling events all day Saturday. Click ahead for a look inside.
