It was a spectacular weekend full of great food, exceptional wine, and social merriment in Napa Valley's Yountville, and all for a tremendous cause.
On April 29th through May 1, Kerrin Laz, the trailblazing founder and proprietor of K. LAZ WINE COLLECTION, hosted the 4th annual Inspire Napa Valley event to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association, and fundraise they did.
After the virtuous weekend, Laz proudly announced on May 3rd that over $1.5 million was raised to support the Alzheimer’s Association various research, care and support programs, and all thanks to the many wine industry leaders and enthusiasts who participated.

Presented by Rolex Watch USA, the Inspire Napa Valley Wine Weekend is a staple event in the surrounding wine country community for its many exclusive tasting offerings, with its third iteration this year held at Opus One Winery.
Friday evening was kicked off with a lavish multi-course dinner expertly paired with the most prestigious cellar vintages, with Saturday morning quickly following up with a special tasting seminar at The Barrel Room at The Estate Yountville.
Moderated by Vinous founder Antonio Galloni, refined wines were precisely chosen by the most distinguished industry panelists such as Food & Wine magazine’s executive wine editor Ray Isle, Benoit Touquette, Andy Erickson, and many others.
Afterwards, a Q&A session on Alzheimer’s research was led by Dr. Maria Carrillo, the Alzheimer’s Association chief science officer, reminding and educating everyone on the widespread background of their great cause.
The Alzheimer’s Association is a global health organization devoted to expeditiously researching, tending to, and supporting those afflicted with Alzheimer’s and all other dementia through thorough early detection, risk reduction, and maximal quality care.

Saturday afternoon saw the main event with The Estate Yountville hosting a walk-around tasting with 38 of the most premiere vinters such as Futo Estate, Rudd Estate, Bryant Estate, and VHR-Vine Hill Ranch, to name a few. That same evening followed with a grand dinner and amusing live auction.
The whole weekend came to a ceremonious close Sunday morning with a delectable VIP brunch at Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc + Addendum complete with posh fried chicken and waffles, exquisite mimosas, and even a bloody mary bar.
“This event reaches new goals year after year with more guests, more support, and more motivation to continue reinforcing the incredible work of the Alzheimer’s Association,” Kerrin Laz wholeheartedly remarked. “With each event, we provide more hope and awareness that helps so many families suffering from Alzheimer’s. In honor of my mother and the millions of families facing the disease, I’m more committed than ever to a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia and I look forward to many more great events to achieve that goal."
Founded in 2017 by Kerrin Laz, Inspire Napa Valley focuses on raising funds to support both Nothern California families struggling with Alzheimer's, as well as the Association's nationwide cutting-edge research.
