After a few shows into the West Coast Leg of her 2022 tour, Luna Li headlined in San Francisco at the Popscene/Rickshaw Stop venue.
Luna Li is a Korean-Canadian musician who gained a lot of traction off of her Jams EP during the COVID-19 pandemic. The songs from this EP highlighted Li’s talents of fusing instruments such as the violin, harp, electronic keys/synths, and many more to make a cohesive and glistening experience for listeners.
Earlier this year, Li released her ‘Duality’ debut album.
This performance marks her first sold out show for the North American leg of her 2022 tour.

During her performance, Li played a variety of tracks from her discography. One of the first stand out tracks from her setlist was “Silver Into Rain”. The track was released earlier this year as a single and it features beautiful/light-hearted vocals from beabadoobee.
The live performance of this track featured Li singing alongside her fellow band members, while accompanied by a colorful array of lights that illuminated the room magnificently.

Halfway through her set, Li transitioned into playing on her harp. While on her harp, she played the soothing “Misery Moon” and the dazzling “Space”.
To close off her set, Li played her debut’s lead singles “Afterglow” and “Cherry Pit”.
The live performance of Afterglow featured Li singing to the song’s vibrant keys and catchy violin hook. Fans shouted the lyrics as Li sang and danced around the stage.
For her final song of the night, Li concluded with the energetic and spirited “Cherry Pit”. The crowd followed as she danced and jumped around to this catchy and exciting tune tune.
After her performance, Li tweeted about the performance and highlighted how important of a moment it was for her.
