Music and Food Together? That'll Never Work

Carolyn Alburger | July 31, 2013 | Food & Drink Story Eat and Drink

At the sixth annual Outside Lands (Aug. 9–11), look for new food stands from Nopalito, Rich Table, and a cast of over 200 other food and drink options to fuel you through three days of live acts.

A brand-new free food and music festival, 20th St. Block Party (Aug. 24), features indie bands curated by Noise Pop and food from Flour + Water, Asiento, Trick Dog, and other local spots. Musical acts will include indie folk from Two Gallants, the glam Mac DeMarco, and New Orleans dance music from Quinn Deveaux and the Blue Beat Review.

Every Sunday through October at Chambers Eat + Drink, DJs like Mark Farina will accompany a feast of brisket, cornbread, cocktails, and more by the pool.
