Kerns Fine Jewelry in Burlingame recently announced that it will open a Patek Philippe boutique in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square later this year. After Beverly Hills and Miami, the new venue, located at 259 Post St., will be the third mono-brand Patek Philippe boutique in the United States. After being closed for nearly six months, the Bay Area’s Michelin-starred restaurant Marlena has reopened in its Precita Park location with a major redesign by AMLGM Studios. Led by chefs Serena Chow Fisher and David Fisher, the restaurant maintains its Edwardian exterior, but the interiors have been completely reimagined with a new woodwork by Oakland’s Skiff , plus a new color scheme, floor plan and banquettes. SF Camerawork recently announced the appointment of Aay Preston-Myint as its executive director. The Bay Area artist, educator and curator has more than 20 years of experience in arts administration, justice and equity work, and programming.
