2008 Mengoba, Godello and Doña Blanca, Bierzo It’s full of flavors of pear, apple, and toasted almonds, but the merging of lift and weight is what makes it so delicious. $46
2009 Zaumau Garnacha Blanca, Priorat White wines don’t often come from hot regions like Priorat. This one is full of savory flavors of herbs and dried fruits and is densely mineral. $36
2010 Monje Hollera Carbonic Maceration, Tacoronte An exuberant red made from the listán negro grape, it’s as concentrated and incisive as good cru Beaujolais but has a vibrant, savory twist. $42
