After an massively monumental return on Halloween last year, San Francisco's Outside Lands is back again this year, with a lineup even more extraordinary and star-studded.
Set to take over Golden Gate Park back in its traditional summer dates of August 5th through the 7th, thanks to Another Planet, Superfly and Starr Hill, the renowned colossal festival will be the weekend home for over 90 diverse and talented musicians.
As for the headliners, it is only fitting that the biggest names in music should lead this distinguished bash as well, and so local Pop-punk pioneer Green Day, brilliant rapper and songwriter Post Malone, and GRAMMY winner SZA will be this summer's talented triumvirate.
From classic rocking hits to modern melodic rap and soulful ballads, the dynamically wide range in style and genre from these three are sure to bring in an equally large attendance of fans this year, especially with all the accompanying bands spread throughout the 3 packed days.
Recent GRAMMY Winner and soulful songstress SZA will be one of the three headliners to anticipate this year.
Other exceptional acts completing the recently released lineup include household names like Jack Harlow, Weezer, Kali Uchis, Kim Petras, Mac DeMarco, Lil Uzi Vert and so much more.
Whether it be the upbeat EDM and electronica of 100 Gecs, Disclosure, and Illenium, or more on the soothing heartfelt melodies of Mitski, Washed Out, and Phoebe Bridgers, there is definitely something for everyone here.
No spectator will be left unsatisfied, for if its one thing Outside Lands is globally known for aside from their consistently stunning lineups, its their devotion to ensuring everyone gets an inclusive and hospitable experience.
“Last year's festival was not only a cathartic experience, but a much-needed celebration for the Bay Area and beyond," says Allen Scott, the Co-Founder and Co-Producer of Outside Lands, "we can’t wait to do it all again with our Outside Lands community this August." After a long-awaited pause in 2020, the electric festival triumphantly premiered again last year with a later October date.
Their special Halloween rendition successfully reinvigorated the San Francisco concert scene, bringing the community together to celebrate with exquisite food, art, and cannabis specials.
New from 2018 was Grass Lands, the first cannabis experience at a major American music festival, curating cutting-edge products and educational booths from local growers. It has since become a popular mainstay in the equally green park, along with the highly anticipated SOMA Tent showcased last year.
The SOMA Tent was the central hub for the everything techno and house, emulating the ambiently intimate atmospheres of underground clubs. With over 9 hours of straight performances each day, this year ravers can expect to see musical innovators Claude VonStroke and TOKiMONSTA carrying the beats. AMÉMÉ, ANNA, J. Worra, and more are also set to DJ this thumping tent, ensuring days full of entrancing dancing.
$399 3-Day General Admission, $799 VIP, and the most exclusive Golden Gate Club experience with sky deck viewing and personal concierge services at $,699 will all go on sale on April 20 at 10am PT on www.SFOutsideLands.com. The full lineup can be also viewed in its entirety here.
