Paxton gate first came to glorious life in 1992 by two brilliant landscape designers who desired to have an eccentric and fun landscaping store. What started as a business to sell unique garden items soon expanded into including “treasures and oddities inspired by the garden and the natural sciences,” featuring collections of mounted exotic insects, rare plants, and more.
Today the popular landmark on Valencia continues to uphold this vintage curiosities-type aesthetic, with the venue brimming with something for everyone.

The store also continues to the back with their large library, garden selections, and patio. Various carnivorous plants, inventive gardening equipment, and posh glassware all fill up the back half of the peculiar store, with their backyard containing the most serene oasis.
