For two days on Septermber 24 and 25, San Francisco's Portola Festival will fill Pier 80 with over 50 of the biggest and hottest musical performers, spread out across four different stages. From rock to electronica, house, and hyperpop, this electrifying all-encompassing festival is sure to have something for everyone, and will truly rank as one of best festivals nationwide, all from, fittingly, on one of our large historic piers.

Here are a diverse few of the most impressive and talented acts to get hyped up for, so that you can start planning on your most optimal weekend musical experience.

Arca

Saturday, 9:00 PM / Ship Tent / Website

Arca hails from Venezuela and is highly acclaimed for her infectious experimental DJ sets and avant-pop hits highlighting themes of gender, queerness, and futurism. A few of her catchy beats can be heard in "KLK" featuring Rosalia, as well as in "Rakata," and "El Alma Que Te Trajo," and she is sure to get the Saturday crowd on their feet.

Charli XCX
