Charlotte Schultz was a huge part of the San Francisco community. She served as Chief of Protocol for three California Governors and 10 mayors of San Francisco along with serving on several local boards, including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Ballet, and was president of the San Francisco War Memorial Board of Trustees. In her Chief of Protocol position, she brought back the city's Black and White Ball, organized the 50th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge with the Golden Gate Bridge Walk and much more.

Charlotte was a model San Franciscan to the core and put her heart into bettering the community with everything she did. Her husband, former Secretary of State George Shultz, passed earlier this year at age 100. Her caring spirit will be missed by many, but her legacy will live on.
