RGB Shop + Gallery Brings “Cool” to the Marina

Faithy Leong, a onetime graphic designer, has combined her innate sense of design and style in a new shop + gallery in Cow Hollow. Her penchant for patterns—reflected in the shop’s boldly striped back wall— are pulling folks off the beaten track and adding a dash of Valencia St. cool to upper Fillmore St. “My shop being in Cow Hollow, as opposed to the Mission, brings an element of surprise,” Faithy says.

RGB embodies a blend of color, clothes and ever-changing art. “The art component is a definite standout in the Marina,” she says. “There is no other shop around here with a dedicated gallery.” This Saturday from 6-10 pm, Leong will introduce Marina locals to “edge” with her first gallery opening of the year located in the private room at the back of the store. The “Results May Vary” exhibition will feature contemporary paintings, collages, and illustrations by San Francisco artists Justine Frischmann, Audrey Le, Mary Stengel and music by DJLC3. Free drinks will be provided by Magners Irish Cider plus receive 10% off clothing and accessories.
