With the instantly triumphant success of her third jam-packed album Motomami comes an even more stunning world concert tour from Spanish pop superstar Rosalía, with the most recent being at our own Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on October 4th.
Belting out her catchiest hits along with a showcasing of her musical prowess through a guitar and grand piano, the 30-year old icon consistently energized her adoring Civic Center crowd the whole night, precisely embodying fierce feminity with unequivocally talented range.

With Motomami having not only been nominated for eight Latin Grammys for 2022's best Album, Song, and Record, it was also bestowed Metacritic's highest-ranked album of this year, proving Rosalía to be a trailblazing powerhouse of an international singer, creative visionary, and extraordinary performer.
Such artistry was present at the legendary Bill Graham, which she innovatively personalized as her own with a minimalist, yet ingeniously chic, plain white backdrop as her stage. Her backdrop was akin to a bright photo studio environment, and with only two large screens on either side, it was clear that the focus was to be on Rosalía and her captivating voice without the need for extra decorative embellishments.

As her dancers, or "motopapis" came on stage, everyone was sharply in sync for every song, all adorned in illuminated motorcycle helmets which fit Rosalía's high-octane motor theme.
The show immediately kicked off in full throttle with "SAOKO," her album's irresistable first song. Fitted in a bold black and white motorcyclist's jumpsuit, Rosalía revved up the audience with her following songs "CANDY," "LA FAMA," and of course, the highly known, “BIZCOCHITO."
“BIZCOCHITO" united the packed house, as those on TikTok will know the exact words and choreography by now after having been trending as a meme, challenge, and universally-applicable catchy sound. The screens mimicked Rosalía's sleek editorial music video styles, quickly cutting between different placed camera angles for a dynamic and 360-degree view.
She also solidified that while she can effortlessly exude powerful club-level energy, she can also harness a softer and more vulnerable emotional side. This was proven when she cleverly transitioned into her more ballad tracks of “G3 N15” and “LA NOCHE DE ANOCHE," which she famously performed with Bad Bunny on Saturday Night Live that got alluringly steamy.

Such songs hit very personal to the artist, explaining the backstories that inspired such romantic yearnings, particularly for "DIABLO," in which she further demonstrated her genuine transparency by simultaneously wiping off her makeup and boldly cutting off one of her own braids.
From here she performed the rest of her hits like "HENTAI," "LA COMBI VERSACE," "DESPECHÁ," and "CHICKEN TERIYAKI," totalling over 30 songs that easily filled almost two hours of unpredictable acts.

From her distinct falsetto-type vocals, to her tantalizing choreography, and overall vogue aesthetics, Rosalía is easily one of today's most brilliant pop stars. With her whirlwind tour, her stop in San Francisco was particularly memorable, sharing, "The first time I came, I fell in love with this city, this energy.”
Our devoted concert scene also affirmed that San Francisco is a must-visit destination that will inclusively welcome and gift a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and appreciation.
