Food & Drink Story Eat and Drink
October 31, 2012 |The brand new San Francisco Cooking School is here to help. In January, SFCS will launch a professional course shaped by the school’s notable deans, including Delfina chef Craig Stoll and Absinthe pastry chef Bill Corbett. Meanwhile, SFCS is already offering classes for those of us who just want to make a better dinner.
This month, try out “The Perfect Steak,” (Nov. 3), “Fall in Rome,” (Nov. 10), and—for the ultimate Christmas cookie primer—the “macaroons” workshop, (Nov. 18). Home-cook classes ($160) offer five hours of hands-on instruction. Watch for the “Holiday Pie” workshop on November 11, too.
SFCS, 690 Van Ness Ave. (at Turk St.)
