Starting Thursday, the Oakland A's will host the Texas Rangers for a four game series, followed by hosting the Houston Astros on the Monday and following Tuesday of Memorial Day for two games. Carnaval is a long standing tradition here in the Mission District, and you can be a part of it by witnessing the colorful and entertaining dance parade for two days on May 28 and 29. This celebration of Latin and Carribean cultural dance, history, and music will run from 10 am to 6 pm both days, with the parade marching on for over 10 blocks! You can even spot the king and queen winners of the prior Dance Competition royally leading the vibrant festivities.

For 12 hours from Sunday May 29 at 2 pm to 2 am on Monday, May 30th, their twelve hour nonstop Outerlimits party will be a celebration of the neighborhood's finest artists, food, and music.
