The aquarium offers six flexible soiree configurations, from the Farallon Room (up to 80 guests for a seated diner and 100 for a cocktail reception) to the Bay Lab (up to 85 guests for a cocktail reception). For the latter, guests can get up close and personal with bat rays and sea stars, watch a biologist give a lesson on marine biology, or learn about various land animals in the Bay Lab exhibit. After exploring this new gem, couples often find themselves in awe of the 15,650-square-foot event space nestled in the heart of San Francisco. The historic building, originally designed by renowned Beaux Arts architect Albert Pissis in 1910, provides couples with many possibilities for crafting unforgettable events. The collaborative efforts of MacCracken Robinson Architects and Jeff Schlarb Design Studio have given rise to the breathtaking Holbrook House bar and restaurant housed within the venue. Radiant light bathes the 8,092-square-foot atrium, which boasts a stage fit for live bands, DJs and heartfelt toasts marking new beginnings.
