The bride and groom were all smiles on their big day.
THE COUPLE Makena Comolli and Brandon Vincent first met while studying at Stanford. “I will never forget the first time I saw Brandon—what he was wearing, how he carried himself, and that he cuffed his jeans and that they had blue gingham on the inside,” Makena beams. Their first date was at Nola in Palo Alto, where they talked for hours. Brandon popped the question on a trip to Maui with Makena’s family, getting down on one knee on the beach at sunset. “She said ‘yes’ before I even had the chance to ask the question,” he laughs.
Sleek tablescapes decked with drippy candles and sumptuous textures added a sultry edge.
THE PARTY This was technically the duo’s second wedding; their first was at Amangiri with only immediate family in 2020. With that in mind, the couple decided to host a low-key affair at the bride’s family home in Atherton, exchanging Cartier bracelets rather than taking off their rings and re-sharing their personalized vows in front of their extended friends and family. The day was full of celebratory elements, including the catered Second Date Pasta, an elevated recreation of the penne with vodka sauce Makena made for their second date.

THE HONEYMOON The couple celebrated their nuptials for the final time at the Four Seasons resort in Bora Bora, soaking up plenty of sun amid the crystal clear sea.
Makena donned Fendi sandals in a shimmery nude hue.
