Autumn: It’s a great time to be outdoors, eating and drinking to excess.
FallFest, San Francisco’s annual celebration of the Bay Area’s bounty of food and drink, provides an excellent opportunity to do so. This year, 40 restaurants, 30 local wineries, and a flotilla of mixologists will descend upon Justin Herman Plaza on October 11 for a day of refined seasonal excess. Participating restaurants include La Urbana, Causwells, Gaspar Brasserie, Homestead, and Souvla; wineries include Rodney Strong Wine Estates, TR Elliott, the Winery SF, and Gundlach Bundschu.
The event, which benefits Meals on Wheels, will also feature attractions like a Chopped-style cook-off and lawn games. Tickets are available on Eventbrite—think of them as your passport to the city’s biggest cornucopia.
