For three days from Tuesday, September 20th to Thursday September 22nd, San Francisco was overwhelmingly bustling with visitors far and wide to attend the annual Dreamforce conference. Renowned for being the largest of its kind worldwide, this year's was particularly invigorating, as it saw both the massive return of city tourism since the pandemic, and its grand 20th anniversary.
Such milestones were acknowledged on Tuesday's keynote with the theme of, "The Great Reunion – A new day for customer magic" by Salesforce co-CEOs Marc Benioff and Brett Taylor. From inspiring talks to networking opportunities and an electrifying Dreamfest celebration extravaganza, here are a few key moments including our celebrity guest of honors.

Actor Matthew McConaughey graced the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater with his presence on Tuesday with an enticing message regarding a potential future presidential run. McConaughey has publicly shared interest in running for the governor of Texas, and when Salesforce co-CEO Marc Benioff asked him specifically about becoming involved in the 2024 presidential election, the 52 year-old actor responded, "yeah I'll consider it in the future, I'd be arrogant not to, absolutely I would consider it."

Wednesday's Net Zero Keynote was helmed by primatologist Jane Goodall to reiterate the effects and responsibility corporations have in protecting the environment from a large carbon footprint. She was joined by Benioff who expanded on her pioneering love for chimpanzee research and her prolific career, before accompanying her in encouraging the next generation to take action. Goodall stated, "we must gird our loins and crawl under, climb over all of the problems that lie between us and that shiny star of hope on climate and biodiversity.”

Al Gore's talk was viewed by a room brimming with over 8,000 guests, and all on the edge of their seats as he fervently urged sustainability. He empowered the entire room with his cadence and bravado, inspiring all to become more "eco-prenurial" and conscious about environmentally-friendly resources.

90's legends the Red Hot Chili Peppers rocked Oracle Park Wednesday night for Dreamfest, delivering showstopping renditions of all of their classic hits of "Scar Tissue," "Give it Away," "Under the Bridge," and so much more, all with impressively prolonged solos. From the fun mascots to the upper-level lounges, Dreamfest was a celebratory night that properly introduced guests into the city, providing a spectacularly long show that was dazzling, nostalgic, and cemented both the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dreamforce as icons you can't miss.

Marvel-and-real-life superhero Simu Liu came to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater Thursday morning and began to strengthen the importance of acknowledging mental health. This topic came from his recent breakup that he shared to Salesforce executive vice president Jody Kohner and the audience, which truly had him reflecting on his need to assess his mental well-being. “I’m learning to prioritize myself," the 33 year-old Canadian actor reassured, admitting, "It really just hit me recently just how burnt out I was.”

Lastly, while it may be ambiguously part of Dreamforce, we couldn't leave out another rare celebrity street sighting, this one from longtime "Saturday Night Live" comedian Kenan Thompson! It is unclear exactly what his business was here, but it is highly speculated that it was for a commerical filming.
With Dreamforce wrapping its three day tech and humanitarian bonanza, many will be leaving the city, but they all certainly will not forget the inimitable memories made here, as well as San Francisco's distinct charm.
