San Francisco Opera Guild’s beloved annual gala, An Evening on the Stage, celebrated the Honorable Nancy Pelosi, Speaker Emerita of the U.S. House of Representatives, and Paul Pelosi, as recipients of the prestigious Crescendo Award, recognizing their enduring dedication to opera and music education.

The evening began with a cocktail reception in the elegant War Memorial Opera House lobby; guests also had the rare privilege of dining on the grand stage surrounded by breathtaking decor.

Guests loved the dazzling program of performances, including opera selections and musical artistry by guitarist Freddy Clarke, pianist and musical curator Ronny Michael Greenberg, soprano Caroline Corrales, tenor Moisés Salazar and the dynamic band Vybe Society.
