Elizabethan times had Shakespeare. Our modern dramas involve the NBA Finals, Super Bowl, World Series and every game leading up to the coveted crown. Artists are naturally drawn to these stories. This fall, SFMOMA showcases Get in the Game, the museum’s largest exhibition, covering 150,000 square feet and 150 artworks. Look for contemporary pieces extolling the triumphs of athletes like Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Colin Kaepernick, Diana Nyad, Venus Williams and Zinedine Zidane.
