San Francisco is not a city accustomed to yelling. Bus protests and memories of Chris Daly aside, we typically lean a little more to the passive side of passive-aggressive. (Maybe it's the effects of Uber for weed?) So that's why we were a bit surprised to learn that Gordon Ramsay's show on Fox, Hell's Kitchen, would be casting competitors in San Francisco.
If you'd really like to try out what it means to have strangers fly off the handle at you for no reason at all, boy are you in luck. The show will be doing a casting session on Monday, August 4th. It goes from 11 am to 4 pm at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts San Francisco (350 Rhode Island Street) in the Mission.
There's an application here. Among its 115 questions are these: "What does pressure mean to you?" "What are your weaknesses in the kitchen?" You're also not allowed to be a candidate for public office for one year after the show. Sorry, Hillary.
