Half Moon Bay Brewing Company
What: "Chef Gaston Alfaro will be featuring classic holiday specials such as a House-Roasted Local Turkey with all the trimmings, Dungeness Crab Pumpkin Bisque and an array of homemade desserts such as Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake with gingersnap crust and Pumpkin Ice Cream," $20.50 for adults, per the press release.
Why: Because beer.
The Cavalier
What: A $75 three-course prix-fixe.
Why: Our own Josh Sens recently declared that the restaurant "delivers on its promise of hale, hearty cooking, in an upscale British setting," at least the first half of which sounds deeply Thanksgivingy to us.
The Plant Cafe Organic
What: A full three course meal, plus vegan options, for $50
Why: Because it's less painful than watching your vegan cousin explain why she doesn't eat gravy for the eight thousandth time
Michael Mina
What: Four prix-fixe courses for $120
Why: Because what better way is there to celebrate the pilgrims' sacrifices than to blow 20 burritos' worth of dollars on dinner?
Gussie's Chicken and Waffles
What: A buffet with more than twenty Southern-y options, including Cajun fried turkey, cornbread dressing, glazed ham, and a cupcake bar.
Why: CUPCAKE BAR.
Sir and Star
What: a $94 "Thanksgiving Feast" at the hyperlocal, hyper-rustic restaurant.
Why: Sens has called this one "the best new restaurant of the calendar year," so.
