It may come at no surprise due to their outstandingly accomodating service and ornate design, but The St. Regis San Francisco has once again been recognized by Forbes Travel Guide as one of the world's top 5-star hotels.
This highly-coveted honor comes in perfect timing to the lavish hotel's recent multi-phase redesign and posh property revitalization, updating its already exquisite guestrooms, lobby, bar, and more to an even greater elevated and refined sophistication.

The Deluxe King Guest Room.
The St. Regis will be profiled on the Forbes Travel Guide site along with the other 2022 Star Award winners. The Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for the most luxurious and acclaimed hotels, restaurants and spas. With their independent and anonymous inspection, only the most special and superb of venues can receive their exclusive Five or Four Star status.

Since 2005, The St. Regis San Francisco on 125 Third Street has been devoted to promising only the most luxurious stay for their esteemed guests, from their uncompromising service to their interior design reflecting the opulent elegance of its home city.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the 40-story high rise is complete with 102 private residences and numerous amenities that continue to be refreshed and updated to promote the highest quality of dining, relaxing, and comforting experiences.
2020 was a major year for the landmark building, as their redesign kicked off with a collaboration with Toronto-based Chapi Chapo Design. 260 rooms and suites were revamped with customized furniture uniquely design only for St. Regis, along with enhancing their 15,000 square foot event spaces for better energy flow.
The St. Regis Bar was also recently refurbished by London-based design firm Blacksheep to create a more owelcoming atmosphere that epitomizes Northern California luxury. Rich colorful textures brighten the space accented by imaginative soft metallics to truly capture our unique vistas of our rolling hills, cable car lines, and nearby serene Napa Valley mountainscapes.
The Blacksheep team has also cleverly heightened the reception area with an eye-catching contemporary chandelier and a new wall installation that gracefully follows the curves of the main bar's elegant interior.
The dining area also boasts "Mountain Mist," which is a watercolor piece by Janie Rochfort that captures our wistful landscapes, all with intimate seating to facilitate comfort while conversing about the creative space. On top of all of this renovation is the addition of their exclusive and dynamic new restaurant Astra, by Mikey Adams.
