JOBS: The bad-boy tech billionaire of Two and a Half Men has real-life cred as an Internet VC—and now Ashton Kutcher's channeling of Steve Jobs has helped earn this film the coveted end-of-festival slot. (Not to be confused with Aaron Sorkin's no-doubt-yakky take on the same topic, still in the works.)
LINSANITY: The gangly, Palo Alto-raised son of Taiwanese immigrants becomes the NBA's most unlikely superstar—and the subject of this documentary by Evan Leong, who's been working on the project with his pal Jeremy Lin for years.
BIG SUR: An aging Jack Kerouac (Jean-Marc Barr), grizzled and dyspeptic in every possible sense, seeks refuge from fame and its aftermath along the Central Coast—a far cry from this year's other Beat film, the sexed-up On the Road, starring Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Stewart.
KINK: In case you missed actor James Franco's turn in About Cherry, last year's fictional account of Mission-headquartered fetish-porn giant Kink.com, here's a chance to see executive producer Franco's documentary take on the very same topic.
