Pappy’s is dedicated to Cal sports, as it’s situated just blocks from the Berkeley campus. But the Warriors, as featured in the aforementioned story in our May issue, are a close second. Chances are, the crowd here will be more civilized than the rest on this list. But by no means does that mean you’ll see a decrease in passion. 2367 Telegraph Ave.
Who doesn’t love a good Irish pub for some sports-watching action? This Inner Sunset establishment may be across the Bay from where most diehard fans will gather, but San Francisco does care about the Warriors (they better, if the team is going to relocate in four years) and you’ll find that out the fun way at Blackthorn. 834 Irving St.
5. GO Bar
Our only true Oakland establishment on the list is just as Warrior-crazy as one would expect. They love their sports, good beer, and delicious food at GO Bar and will have the Warriors playing on plenty of their wall-to-wall flat screens. This is definitely the place to be in Oakland if you want to feel the local love for the Warriors. 736 Washington St.
