Call in sick today. Instead, go watch the Giants take on the Washington Nationals in the first game of the playoffs. Though you don't quite have to pull a #madbum and chug four beers simultaneously, here are some of our favorite places where you can watch the game:
Public House: AT&T Park's bar isn't usually open for lunch, but it will be today, starting at 11. 24 Willie Mays Plaza
SoMa Street Food Park: Their Orange October party features big-screen TVs, food trucks (obv)—and $3 pints of Anchor Steam and $13 pitchers for anybody wearing Giants gear. 428 11th Street
Schroeder's: The FiDi bar is almost always the right place to hide from work on Friday afternoons, but today it'll be showing the game on a huge flat screen TV. 240 Front Street
Kezar Pub: This place has been showing European soccer since 5 this morning, so you could conceivably be camping out here the entire day. 770 Stanyan Street
Literally any bar with a television: This isn't rocket science, people. Anywhere.
