When the city passed its controversial payroll tax break that lured tech giant Twitter to Central Market, it was banking that the move would stimulate the long-dormant area. Now, that effort is paying dividends. Delicious, delicious dividends. Here, a guide to the area's new and still-upcoming restaurants.

Azalina’s Malaysian
ETA: September
Already a street-food and catering superstar, Azalina Eusope will bring her Malaysian fare to Market Square’s lobby with a 45-seat restaurant that will serve lunch and dinner.

Bon MarcheĢ
ETA: Winter 2014
A French-inspired brasserie and bar from the AQ team, this 125-seater will be open from breakfast through dinner and will feature cocktails and sparkling wine.

The Cadillac Bar & Grill
ETA: Summer 2014
The long-deceased Mexican restaurant will be resurrected on the building’s ground floor.

The Market
ETA: Fall 2014
This 22,000-square-foot emporium from the Small Foods team will emphasize local and specialty foods.

Dirty Water
ETA: TBD
Paleo-style “primal cooking” and cocktails from Ziryab’s Zachary Brian Taylor will be on the menu at this behemoth. Expect patio seating and a beer garden complete with a fireplace, lounge chairs, and a lawn.
