Starting this Sunday, March 27th until April 3rd, San Francisco will be budding with a bouquet of various exciting outdoor events, entertainment, and exhibitions celebrating all things spring.
BloomSF is the title for this week long experience, created in partnership with many local floral businesses for the “Welcome Back to SF” program and Mayor London Breed’s Downtown Recovery Plan. Programs will include music, wellness activities, specialty food & beverages, floral art installations, outdoor fitness classes and more, set throughout seven of San Francisco’s popular locations.

Spring-themed floral art installations will be displayed around downtown’s Union Square and Westfield shopping center, with The Ferry Building, Embarcadero Center, and Salesforce Park also contributing free garden tours, crafts, live music, ZUMBA, shopping spree contests, and more.
Other notable companies will also be partnering with the event this week. Lyft and Bay Wheels will be providing discounted bikes and rides, while DoorDash is to offer a month of free DashPass deliveries for local business employees who sign up to work for DoorDash within the next 3 months.
Cast members of the popular "Dear San Francisco" acrobatics and spoken word show by Club Fugazi will also be around to perform snippets of their performances.
At The Crossing at East Cut, San Francisco’s newest outdoor community plaza near Embarcadero, HIIT workout sessions will be offered with LuxFit on April 2nd. Soccer tournaments and roller skating for all ages, stand-up comedy, and Beer Garden happy hours will also all be hosted at The Crossing.
The multi-day event was kicked off on Monday at a press conference atop Salesforce’s lush rooftop Park by Mayor London Breed. Other city officials, business leaders, and the Transbay Joint Powers Authority joined her as she happily made the announcement to promote revitalization of care and excitement to the city.
Wine Walk is an event hosted by the Embarcadero Center happening on the Wednesday of Bloom SF week.
Apart from the cocktail and food offerings, and the Wine Walk, all the events are free of charge and open to the public for all ages.
